My name is Laya Albert, and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California, majoring in journalism and pursuing a minor in cultural diplomacy. Originally from Jupiter, Florida, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s playing tennis, snorkeling, or sunbathing at the beach. My passion for writing and content creation has always been a significant part of my life. My writing covers a diverse range of topics, such as sports, opinion pieces, arts and entertainment, international affairs, and politics.

I’ve contributed to multiple student-run publications, including Annenberg Media, the Daily Trojan, and SPEC Magazine. I also maintain a blog for the Times of Israel. I previously held a summer internship at VIDEOBOLT.COM, and currently serve as a Communications Intern for USC’s Shoah Foundation.
